The “Humor” headline grabs your prospect’s attention because there might be something humorous in your product or packaging. Be very careful in the use however for irony is the best humor to use. Joking, other than tongue-in-cheek can be very counterproductive. What makes people laugh? Some cannot see the humor. Your product could gain in credibility if you are slightly depreciating.

Useful tips on flirt with girls

Flirting with girls can either be difficult or easy depending on how much you know about flirting.

Many men thought if you are able to strike up a conversion with a girl, then they consider they are in.  But in actual fact, flirting with girls just doesn’t end there.  Therefore, most men don’t have a clue about flirting with girls.

In other words, you have to establish a rapport.

The following are 5 tips on flirting with girls . Incorporate these into your seduction efforts, and you’ll be leaps ahead of the male competition.

Tip #1 – Understand flirting.

Flirting is more than just complimenting a girl. If you want her to return the gesture, you have to create sexual tension. In short, when a woman feels sexual tension towards you, she’s attracted, but she’s unsure of how you feel. This only heightens her interest in you.

Flirt with her the very second you meet her, thereby setting the wheels in motion. From there, joke around and lightly tease her. By play fighting with her, you’ll create an indirect feeling of rapport within her psyche, and she’ll crave you even more.

Tip #2 – Be cocky, but use humor.

The mixture of cockiness with humor is a great technique. The idea behind this approach is to elevate your status within her eyes, thereby making her work harder to gain your approval.

For example, if she says something you don’t agree with, contradict her statement (cockiness), but do so in a teasing manner (humor). The combination of these two elements is a recipe for sexual tension. As with anything, however, use this technique in moderation, and see to it that your cockiness doesn’t bleed over into arrogance.

Tip #3 – Create a sexually-tense conversation.

Your objective with flirting is to showcase yourself in a sexual light. You want her to view you as a possible lover, not a friend, and to do so, you must incorporate sex into your conversation.

Before you get all hot and bothered, understand that I don’t mean you should act like a pig. Rather, you should introduce the topic of sex in an indirect manner. Telling a few of your friends’ funny sex stories is a good way to accomplish this.

A buddy of mine has a trick that’s worked well for him. In essence, he jokes about marrying the girl, and he’ll banter with her about what their house would be like. Once she says something he can tease her about, he’ll tell her that “it’s over” or he wants a divorce.

The combination of romance and teasing drives women nuts!

Tip #4 – Touch her.

Now that you know some elements for a good conversation, it’s time to up the ante. In other words, it’s time to touch her.

If you can establish physical contact with a girl, you’re well on your way to the bedroom. To accomplish this, identify key points during an interaction when it would be appropriate to make contact. If you’re walking through a crowd, grab her hand, and touch the small of her back as you hold the door open for her. When talking to her, touch her arm to stress a point.

These moves are subtle, but believe me…she’ll notice.

Tip #5 – Talk adventurously.

Women crave excitement. With that said, the more adventure you’ve got going on in your life, the more attracted she’ll be to you.

Before I get into how you can appear more exciting, I’d like to stress that you should never brag in front of a girl. Arrogance does more harm than good. Instead, inject adventurous stories into your conversation. Wild road trips, crazy travels, or projects you’ve got going on are great for enhancing your image.

Once you’ve grabbed her attention, try talking about all the fun stuff she could do with you. Once again, don’t brag. Instead, mention a few of the things you enjoy that she might also be interested in. This will further convince her that she’s attracted to you.

In conclusion, if you want to learn tips on flirting with girls, you’ll have to abandon the cheesy pick-up lines, and learn how to really talk to women. By establishing a high status and sexual nature from the start, you’ll be well on your way to creating the rapport necessary for successful flirting.

If you are able to incorporate these 5 tips into your efforts, and any woman will be putty in your hands.

6. Avoid touching things in public places

8. Avoid humidity and humid places
9. Wear a doctor recommended face mask
10. Use hand wipes while traveling by public transportation
11. Observe personal hygiene and wear laundered clothes everyday

Before you leave the house

15. If you are a health care worker, use hand sanitizer often after seeing clients
16. Wipe your hands before cooking or using food items

When in the car

17. Wipe your hands with a hand wipe and use a hand sanitizer after you get in your car but before you touch the steering wheel
18. Drop the windows open for a few minutes before you drive to aerate the car

Watch for the warning signs

19. Watch for potential symptoms like fever, body ache, sore throat, runny nose, vomiting or diarrhea
20. If you are pregnant, be extra careful since pregnant women are 4 times more likely to be hospitalized with the flu than the general population

If you feel like you may have the flu

21. Stay at home if you feel ill
22. Rest, stay hydrated, take medicine to reduce the fever, and keep your distance from others for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone
23. Get tested if you notice symptoms like fever, cold, cough etc. (Rapid flu tests are not reliable, you need to request a lab test)
24. Shield others from your coughs and sneezes by using a tissue paper
25. If you have severe symptoms of the flu then ask your doctor about Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir)
26. Tell your doctor if you have other diseases/symptoms like asthma, diabetes etc, which may worsen the flu

Protect children

27. Keep children at home if they feel ill
28. Give kids paper tissues and hand wipes to carry
29. Ask kids to wash hands often and to report if paper towel dispensers at school are empty
30. Suggest to school authorities to move desks farther apart in the classroom

Build immunity to the disease

31. Eat a full breakfast
32. Get at least 8 hours of sleep
33. Exercise often, or at least have a brisk walk for 30 minutes every day

Ten Top Tips for a Low-stress Thanksgiving Holiday

Help ensure this year’s Thanksgiving holiday is low on the stress and high on the enjoyment and thanks-giving by using these simple tips.

Prepare early & plan ahead. Nothing can better ensure a stress-free holiday than planning early and doing as many of the preparation steps ahead of time. Read on for just what steps you can do before the big day.

Invites your guests early, and be clear on when they have to be at your home. There’s no reason to not invite your guest as early as September or early October, especially if they have to travel to get to your home. And, very importantly, be sure to specify right up front when they need to arrive at your home, and build a little ‘buffer’ in. For instance, in our family we like to serve the Turkey dinner at 5:30 or 6:00 pm, but we ask all guests to arrive by 4:00 pm, the better to socialize, help and, importantly, keep the stress off you. The last thing you need to worry about as you baste the turkey is “what if Aunt Martha is an hour late?”

Accommodate your out of town guests. Plan early and don’t be shy about being directive for your out-of-town guests. Don’t leave them guessing whether they can stay with you at your house. Tell them clearly they can, or clearly tell them they can’t. If they can’t, do this graciously by saying you’ve reserved a room at a local, affordable motel or B&B – do they want you to hold the reservation for them or not?

Don’t overshoot, keep it simple. Remember, the best times and memories at Thanksgiving come from the time spent together, not the show-off cooking and party hosting you might do. Show-off party hosting is a sure-fire recipe for stress and perhaps flame out. So keep your plans and aspirations for the meal, decorations and day simple, with an accent on making your guests comfortable, serving them honest but simple traditional fare and letting them enjoy the time with family and friends.

Encourage sharing. Plan a few activities that will help people share and bond. It can be as simple as telling people ahead of time that during dinner everyone who’s willing, will have a chance to share what they are thankful for. Or perhaps have a group walk in a pretty local park for an hour in the afternoon while the turkey’s cooking. This will sharpen their appetites and make everything taste better!

Pick the right menu, and make sure you can deliver. Plan your menu well in advance and, if there are any dishes you’ve never made before, don’t make your Thanksgiving guests your guinea pigs! Instead, practice your new dishes ahead of time. I like to practice new turkey recipes in October. Everyone loves turkey and doesn’t get it often enough during the rest of the year. Invite some friends over in October and cook a smaller turkey to get your technique and recipe down. You’ll go into Thanksgiving week with unparalleled confidence.

Get the bird. Odds are, you can walk into almost any grocery store on Thanksgiving day and find a turkey. Fine. But why have the stress of worrying about this, and why take just whatever happens to be there. Talk to your local butcher a few weeks ahead of time. Get his advice as to the correct turkey size for your number of guests. Order your bird from him and arrange to pick it up on Wednesday or Thursday morning – depending on schedules and whether you have room in your fridge!

Lighten the load through ‘potluck’ delegation. In our family we lighten the load on the hosts by passing around an ‘on line sign up sheet’ and asking some of the guests to volunteer to make some of the dishes and bring them – potluck style! My sister usually brings several pies she bakes the day before and my Mother brings her famous string bean recipe. That’s less work for me, and they like being able to contribute! See the below resources for on line tools to make potluck sign ups easy.

Get your gear in place. Now is the time to think through seating, tables, place settings etc. Do you need to arrange to borrow any extra equipment? Make arrangements ahead of time for what you need to borrow and be sure to get it 3-4 days ahead of time if possible, or arrange a posse for early Thursday so it just gets done and doesn’t add to the stress. I always borrow two extra folding tables and 8 folding chair from my church hall and have my brother-in-law help me pick this stuff up in a van on Thursday morning. This allows us to seat 20+ guests! For you it might be getting 6 extra place settings by having some guests bring them.

Shop ahead of time. Do your final grocery shopping 3-4 days before Thanksgiving. Whatever you do, don’t wait until Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Instead, go out the previous weekend to buy everything except the fresh fruits, vegetables and the turkey. You’ll feel much better on Monday and Tuesday!

I know this is #11, but this is more about next year. When it’s all over, write down your notes. Take a few minutes on Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving and write down some notes on what went well and how to improve. Write down any recipe adjustments and notes as well, as well as how long it took to cook the turkey (every oven is different!). It can be really valuable to know what the correct quantities of food are to serve so many guests. Next year, knowing that putting the bird in the oven at 1 pm worked perfectly for a 5 pm dinner will remove one more iota of stress. Then store your notes some place good – I use on line note & to do list software (see below) but you can also be as simple as putting your paper notes with the turkey pan!

That’s all there is to it. You see the common themes: plan ahead, get as many tasks done as possible before Thanksgiving day, share some potluck tasks with your guests, and keep your ambitions in rein so the menu and plans are simple and surefire. Most important, don’t forget to enjoy the stuffing!

Gary Hayduk recommends using sign up sheets for Thanksgiving, to do lists, and, to simplify Christmas: printable santa wish list template.

Any Tips On Cooking Underground?

I’m cooking a pig undergound. I’ve already built the pit and even did a test run with a couple of small pork roasts. I think we have a pretty good setup, but I’m wondering what are the best rocks to use in order to retain the heat. I wanted to use lava rocks, but could only find the small ones that you would put in a grill. We ended up using some river rocks the size of a small frisbee. I don’t like using these rocks because i think they will explode and not hold very much heat.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Tips For Hosting a Truly Memorable Luau

The word “luau” means “feast” in the Hawaiian language. Luaus mean more than just good food, though – they mean a gathering to share good fun as well! So here are some tips for hosting a truly memorable luau.
First, set a budget and allow plenty of time to plan and set up the luau. In Hawaiian tradition, real luaus took months to prepare because Hawaiians didn’t have any of today’s labor-saving devices. So take advantage of calendars, calculators and party supply stores.

And since a luau is a practice of South Pacific culture, think “tropical” when setting up party plans. Use decorations such as tiki torches along with palm tree cutouts, shells, candles, leis, straw hats, grass skirts, silk flowers, and brightly colored streamers. In other words, go “coconuts” with bright tropical décor.

Hold your luau outside if at all possible. Should space or weather cause the party to move inside, be sure the decorations and food are portable. Make life and clean-up easier for everyone with paper and plastic utensils.
Next, be sure your guests know the party theme of “Hawaiian luau.” They can get out their flashiest Hawaiian shirts, shorts, sarongs, grass skirts, surfer baggies, sandals and any other island gear. Be sure you greet each guest with a hearty “Aloha!” and a plastic or silk flower lei.

When it comes to beverages, plan to offer tropical cocktails like Pina Coladas, Mai Tais and Daiquiris. Have non-alcoholic versions of these drinks as well, along with pitchers of iced tea or punch with plenty of floating fruit slices. Serve the drinks in coconut shells if possible, and be sure to top them with little cocktail umbrellas!
Get out plenty of pineapple and fresh fruit chunks for the food menu. Pineapple juice makes a great marinade for meat as well. Check online recipes sites for authentic Hawaiian delicacies. Some traditional foods include poi, Lomi salmon and chicken long rice. A whole roast pig turning on a spit is an impressive option, but only attempt this is you’re brave or experienced. A local butcher shop should be able to help you find a pig suitable for roasting. If the pig is too much of a challenge, then stud a nice big ham with pineapple rings and cloves.

Fun at a real luau involves games and tests of skill and strength. If youngsters are invited, consider having them string their own leis with fake flowers and fishing line. Give a Hawaiian twist to familiar games by playing “Hot Coconut” instead of “Hot Potato,” or “Pin on the Piggy’s Tail.” Grown-ups and older children can join in spear-throwing contests with darts or racing around an obstacle courses (no fire-dancing, please!). Prizes for these games can include small, tropical-themed toys and gadgets for the kids, or some Kona coffee, one of Hawaii’s greatest exports, for the adults.

No Hawaiian luau would be complete without island music. Party stores often have CDs of beach tunes and Hawaiian songs, as do libraries, friends or online music sites.

The most important thing to remember about a Hawaiian luau is that it’s all about the fun and conviviality – for the hosts and the guests.

Many things can be considered truly Hawaiian. Author Sam Kanakanui and creator of Truly Hawaiian Teriyaki Sauce is just such a person. Born on Oahu, Sam has brought his families 100 year old teriyaki sauce recipe to the mainland to share with his extended ohana (family). He can be contacted at www.TrulyHawaiian.com.

Revealed! 4 Tips on How Rising Costs Can Help You Achieve Healthy Weight Loss!

When the times get tough, the tough get going. Everyone has heard this wisdom but very few people take the time to think about how they can use it to their advantage. No matter what your circumstances are, there is always something good that you can make out if it. With costs of everything around us rising to incredible heights, re-adjusting is a must.

You may not think it’s possible, but there is no better time to begin a healthy lifestyle. That is the cornerstone to healthy weight loss, and you can use a lean purse to your advantage. Want to fit back into the clothes you never thought you could fit into again without spending tons of money on a gym membership? It’s totally possible!

Here are 4 tips on how rising costs can help you achieve healthy weight loss:

Healthy Weight Loss Tip #1: Get on Your Bike And Ride
How much does gasoline cost per gallon these days? It is absolutely horrific to think that it took roughly 100 years for us to get to the first dollar per gallon, and then only 5 years to get to the second, 2 years to get to the third, and one year later we are at a whopping $4! It is time to tell the oil companies that we have alternative transportation to the grocery store, post office and bank.

Save your gas money by dusting off that old bicycle that has been sitting in the garage with flat tires for the past five years. Plan out a route that will allow you to do run your errands the old fashioned way. Not only will you save money, you’ll be getting daily exercise without having to pay for a gym membership. Exercise is a vital part of a healthy lifestyle, and although it is not absolutely necessary for healthy weight loss, it certainly speeds up the process.

Healthy Weight Loss Tip #2: Meal Replacements
I lost 70 pounds in 4 months and have kept it off for over 15 years. One of my tricks was that I began a healthy weight loss program designed around replacing expensive, artery clogging meals with a soy-based protein shake. Regardless of how much weight you need to lose, this is the best way to begin the process of leading a healthy lifestyle. Do I drink a shake instead of every meal? No. But because it provides the best possible nutrition, I never let a day go by without drinking at least one.

Imagine if a tasty McDonalds shake offered you all the nutrition you needed for a whole meal, but it was only 180 calories? Since weight loss equals consuming less calories than you burn off, you can easily imagine how it is an extremely successful and healthy weight loss plan. It costs roughly $1.50, compared to a fatty, salty $10.00 meal at any given restaurant. You don’t need to be a genius to see that the math is in your favor.

Healthy Weight Loss Tip #3: Cut Your Snacking Bill
I personally cannot go to the grocery store anymore without spending at least ten dollars on the things that used to cost  $6.00.  Milk, butter, eggs, bread. It all adds up so quickly that something needs to be sacrificed in order to make ends meet. Instead of cutting back on healthy foods like chicken, fish, vegetables and fruit, cut back instead on the unnecessary snacks that line the cupboards of overweight people.

Did you know that every year there are roughly 200 new processed snack foods introduced to the marketplace, and only about 5 new health foods? Think about it. A Reeses candy bar used to be only available in one variety. Now you can choose from dark and white chocolate, chunky, caramel filled, reversed and fudge dipped. No wonder we are the fattest nation in the world! Do yourself a favor and cut back on these fatty snacks. You cannot pig out on junk food if isn’t in your kitchen. You’ll be doing your body and pocketbook a favor.

Healthy Weight Loss Tip #4: Stop Smoking
You know this guilty pleasure does nothing but cause harm to your body, and since the cost of cigarettes will continue increasing as much as anything else, now is a great time to quit! Where I live, a small package of cigarettes cost almost $7! That’s more than I pay for several days worth of my soy-protein meal replacement shakes. What do you think replacing the cost of a meals and quitting your bad smoking habit would do to your healthy weight loss goals? Probably triple your efforts!

Since everyone is faced with the problem of paying a little bit more for everything we buy on a daily basis, making sacrifices is the only viable option this side of getting into debt and hoping prices will fall back into place. Let’s face reality, they never will. Shifting your lifestyle by making healthier decisions with the tips outlined above is a much smarter route to travel…and you’ll be well on your way to a healthy weight loss as a result.

Sunday Dinner Cooking – 10 Easy Tips To Cook Exciting Food

Sundays have always been special in many aspects. One of them are the Sunday Dinners at the church. Potluck on Sundays refers to one lucky person offering food for all at the local church. Ever since I have been attending these dinners I remember, most people offered fried chicken. Why only this option? Well, it is easily available at the neighboring food store. So easy, just walk in to the store pick out a few packs of fried chicken and walk in to the church.

As far as I can evaluate it happens due to lack of time, planning and ideas. But imagine, what if you cook scratch out a bit of time, prepare something simple yet special & elegant and offer it in the potluck! So many people would be impressed! Some would be jealous! And almost all would be surprised! So much appreciation and satisfaction that you offered something with so much love and little effort! Won’t you like to do the same?

Picking a fried chicken from a deli or a local restaurant might not be wrong, but, its surely repetitive, boring and certainly nothing special!

There are so many simple & easy recipes available through varied resources that you can go ahead with; for instance spicy taco casserole or the dessert items!

Here are a few ideas 7 resources for your next Sunday dinner:

1. Surf the internet.

Internet is surely a global resource to quench all your thirst related to whatever aspect it may be. Key in the right keywords and you can find several easy to cook dishes at one go. Kraft foods website offers some delicious desserts that are quite easy to cook.

2. Desserts are often a good choice for Sunday dinners.

Sweet delicacies can be made within no time just a night before. These can be frozen overnight and so can be easily carried over to serve. Such desserts that tickle the taste buds of almost all of us are easy tricks to make your coworkers envious of your culinary talent at the ‘pitch ins’ at work.

3. Check out the casserole recipes.

Casserole recipes are often quick, simple and delicious.

4. Try the crock pots & slow cookers.

There are several dishes that you can cook in the crock pots & slow cookers. Just fill it in with the ingredients, turn it on and sleep over. By the time you complete your health sleep, the food would be done giving out a yum aroma and you could make up to the church in a record time.

5. Read through the magazines.

Many magazines offer interesting cookery sections. Magazines offer very healthy eating options such as large salad, casserole, or a healthy dessert.

6. Opt some healthy foods.

It is not necessary to select fat filled or calorie filled dishes for the Sunday dinner.

7. Enjoy the cooking.

It is often said that the cook’s mood defines the taste of the food. So, cook the dishes that you enjoy. Do not opt for any long recipes that feel you are forced to work on. Instead of being helpful, it would become more tedious and the food would get the bad taste of the cook. Hence, do not make it a stressful activity for yourself.

8. Do not repeat the same dishes.

Try a new recipe every time rather than sticking to the same thing time and again. It can make even a good dish repetitive and boring, just like the fried chicken.

9. Prepare a bank of recipes.

I suggest you to collect some recipes over time so that the next time you have to make the Sunday dinner, you do not have to vigorously search for them.

10. Treat your potluck audiences as guinea pigs.

Though every individual puts in all their effort & love in the dishes they cook, sometimes the results are not that perfect. This could also save you and your family from getting stuck with leftovers for a week. And a rather happier option, if you like the food, you can put it into rotation of recipes at home.

Now, those with little or no culinary talents go out to surprise your family, friends, and fellow church members with the correct ’simple to make’ recipes. Instead of getting on to fried chicken next time, cook up something awesome and get famous with your folks!

Tips on Building a Fire Pit

Fire Safety Practices:

When building a fire pit, the need to constantly remind ourselves about fire safety practices is very basic but the most important factor to consider. It is always necessary for us to review these practices once in a while so we won’t forget them.

Open fires are prohibited in some local codes that’s why it is necessary to check such restrictions before building a fire pit. Safety and building inspection is required in some areas. Choose a spot away from trees, overhanging branches, tree roots in the ground, dry grasses, shrubs, or anything that can easily catch fire. If you don’t have a choice but to build in dry grasses, make sure that you build the fire pit walls higher. Dried leaves, wood sticks, pine needles and other flammable debris should be cleared away for at least 10 feet around the fire pit. Use a mesh screen lid to prevent flying sparks from starting fire. Another option is to pre-water the surrounding area. Bucket or bottle of water should always come in handy.

The Basics of Fire Pit Building

The size of the pit is determined based on your intended use. If it is for keeping warm and creating light, a diameter of 2 feet is usually enough for one to three people and three to four feet for larger groups. If it is for cooking, it will depend on the food. The recommended 2-4 feet diameter is often sufficient for barbeques, direct grilling, and Dutch oven cooking. You might consider making two pits for indirect grilling especially whole stuff like for roasting whole pig. Drive a stake in the ground at the pit center. You need to attach a string (1 foot) to the stake at one end and the other end to a large nail. Make a circle for the pit with the nail and dig 1 foot deep. At the center of this large hole, make a smaller hole by digging 1 foot deeper with 6-8 inch diameter. This smaller hole is intended for drainage. Both holes must be filled with gravel until the larger hole has gravels in it about 4 inches deep. Add three inches of sand or soil that would now contain the fire. Place three rows of concrete blocks around the perimeter of your pit or if you desire a permanent one, build a wall around using bricks.

Your fire pit is now ready for use. You just need to gather some woods and get the fire going!
