Start To Take Care Of Yourself Before It’s Too Late

Sometimes I get as fed up reading health articles as I do writing them, but write them I must! Why? Well, because someone has to take on the huge task of putting out and repeating the message that if we don’t take good care of ourselves we’ll most likely get sick when we shouldn’t get sick. We’ll also end up fat when we should be slim, and perhaps become depressed when we should be happy and content! A lot of mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing is within our control, but the way that so many off us stress out and pig out these days, it’s little wonder we’re a nation growing up with that silent of killers, High Blood Pressure!

I mean let’s face it! The eating habits that most of us have are appalling to say the least. Oh, we can lay to rest the term ‘junk food’ in favor for ‘convenience food’, but I think we all know what’s good and what’s not. It’s the ‘convenience’ that has so many of us stocking up with frozen boxes full of meals that drastically lack in vitamins, minerals, or anything that’s of real nutritional value to the human body.

How many of you have considered high blood pressure, heart disease, and your cholesterol levels? I wonder how many of you answer that with an ‘I do’? If you’re one of those that don’t, then I seriously suggest you do some research and re-evaluating.

I couldn’t believe it when I read a recent study which said the average American consumes fast food meals twice a day. TWICE A DAY! Can you believe that? Are you one of them? Just take a minute out here and reflect on your daily or weekly meals. Maybe you are just asking for high blood pressure, or perhaps you’re so sick and tired with life in general, that you don’t care what happens to you, although I doubt this is the case if you’re reading this article.

What writers like me try to do is install in the minds of the reader a ‘healthy fear’ in order to plant a seed which may start you thinking about making certain changes in your lifestyle. Call it mental obsessions or physical cravings, but eating all the wrong foods and slouching around in armchairs are nothing more than bad habits. A habit is simply an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary. But the good news is that habits can be broken so long as you find something to replace them with.

One of the problems with obesity and out-of-shape people is that these things don’t actually kill us! Well they do, but not directly. Our death certificates will read something like ‘Stroke induced by High Blood pressure’ or heart attack/disease, multiple organ failure and the like. No one has ‘died of fat’ or ‘Passed away due to Idleness’ etc. Just as a chain smoker may die of lung cancer, but it’s really the smoking that caused it in the first place.

So common folks get some love back into your lives and start to take care of yourselves before it’s too late. Ain’t none of us getting any younger you know, and the ole body can only take so much. Find a new way to eat healthily and get some regular exercise. If you stick with it, great times will follow and you will know a new freedom and a new happiness like you never thought possible. But it can only work if you work it so work it you’re worth it.

How to Start a Business on the Internet

You start an Internet business by deciding WHO, WHAT and HOW.

Step One on How to Start an Internet Business – WHO are you going to sell to?

People fail in this business because they sort out a product and then wonder who they are going to sell it to. Don’t fall into that trap. Instead, follow the top marketing gurus and before you begin to plan, create or sort out products, work out who you are going to sell to.
That simply means you’ve got to decide what your niche market is going to be.

Step Two on How to Start an Internet Business – WHAT are you going to sell?

Once you know your niche market you can ask, what do they want? What products will fulfil the desires of the people in this particular niche market? For example, it’s a complete waste of time, energy and money trying to sell a book on ‘Choose Your Pony,’ to a boating enthusiast.

Step Three on How to Start an Internet Business – HOW are you going to create or acquire your products?

This is where you can choose to team up with suppliers or create your own product from scratch. Obviously this depends on what you are selling.

A gem for you – don’t forget you will need more than one product – it’s unusual to get rich from selling one product. The inventor of cat’s eyes for our roads is one success story that springs to mind.

Step Four on How to Start an Internet Business – HOW are you going to market your product to potential buyers?
There are lots of advertising systems for the Internet. Start with your own website and work outwards from that. Best advice I can give you is to learn all this stuff from a business entrepreneur who’s been there, done it and got the badge of success. It’s worth putting in the effort, you can make a fortune, but only if you know what you’re doing.
Another gem for you – Don’t forget hidden motivators.

Step Five on How to Start an Internet Business – HOW are your customers going to pay you?

You need to set up an order form and a paying system. The usual for the Internet is Paypal. If you want to make tele sales available as well, consider offering credit card facilities.

A gem for you – always offer at least a 30 day money-back guarantee on your order form – it can increase your sales up to 30%.

Step Six on How to Start an Internet Business – HOW are you going to deliver product?

Some business entrepreneurs don’t actually send out their own product. They use fulfilment companies or have it sent direct from the production factory.

When you first start an Internet business, if you send out products yourself it keeps your costs low until the income starts coming in.

That’s the very broad strokes of How to Start an Internet Business.

Five movies help you make a new start in 2010

No doubt New Year’s is the perfect time to start over — whether it is a whole new outlook, a new romantic relationship, a new job, a new diet…… If you’re still feeling stuck in your 2009 routine, here are five movies that will inspire you to make that change.

5. Groundhog Day (1993)
Today is the first day of the rest of your life — and no movie gets that across better than this one, in which Bill Murray lives the same day over and over, until he gets it exactly right.

4. Jerry Maguire (1996)
Ever feel like you’ve hit a wall at work? When sports agent Tom Cruise decides to come clean about dishonesty in his business, he gets canned — only to find a lucrative new career representing a single unlikely client.

3. The First Wives Club (1996)
Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn and Bette Midler think they’ve hit rock-bottom when their husbands all leave them for younger women. But when they dare to take revenge, they find themselves taking control of their own lives for the very first time.

2. Under the Tuscan Sun (2003)
In the ultimate starting-over fantasy, Diane Lane solves her writer’s block and post-divorce blues by spontaneously moving to the Italian countryside, where she finds love, inspiration and fresh olives. It’s like the old saying goes: When life gives you lemons, buy a villa in Tuscany.

1. Julie & Julia (2009)
Sometimes, all it takes to get a new start is a new project. When Amy Adams decides to cook every recipe in Julia Child’s seminal cookbook, her efforts lead to a successful blog — and a whole new life.
